About Geoffrey Zakarian
Throughout his 30 year career, Geoffrey Zakarian has made his mark as a chef and restaurateur known for his signature style. As the Chef/ Owner of the beloved restaurants The Lambs Club and The National in Manhattan, The National in Greenwich, CT, Georgie and The Garden Bar in Los Angeles and Point Royal and Counter Point in Hollywood, FL, Zakarian combines his classical culinary training and eye for design in these concepts. He also oversees the food and beverage program at The Water Club at Borgata in Atlantic City, where his passion for hotels and hospitality shines. Zakarian’s kitchens are well known for being expertly organized and his modern American menus award-winning.
Zakarian is the author of Town/Country and My Perfect Pantry cookbooks, as well as a notable television personality on the Food Network. In addition to being an Iron Chef and longtime favorite judge on “Chopped”, Zakarian co-hosts Food Network’s daytime series, “The Kitchen” and hosts the primetime hit “Cooks vs. Cons”. Outside of the shows and restaurants, Zakarian serves as Chairman of the Food Council for City Harvest, an organization fighting to end hunger in New York City.
